This mackinaw jacket is our interpretation of a classic Canadian piece of outerwear. We took inspiration from the woollen blanket-coats worn by soldiers in the 1800s.
Constructed from a stout 16.2oz lambswool woven on the border of Yorkshire and Lancashire, it is finished with genuine horn buttons and features distinctive voluminous pockets, alongside adjustable cuffs and a broad, stiff collar with a simple, straight shape. It is a beautiful example of when form and function meet.
